Tim Modise’s last curtain call at POWER 98.7

Last week POWER 98.7 announced their line-up changes which include Tim Modise the host of POWER BREAKFAST (weekdays 06h00 – 09h00) leaving the station. This morning Modise took to the microphone for his last official show with the station. He is leaving the station to focus on other business interests and community development work.

In recognition of the occasion, there was a celebratory mood at POWER 98.7 with the station’s chairman, Given Mkhari, taking over with the anchor microphone with Modise on the other side.

For his last show the legend hit the studio in good spirits, in his usual high energy manner. Industry peers such as Bob Mabena, DJ Fresh, Gareth Cliff, legendary Koos Radebe and Glen Lewis calling in to reminisce and celebrate him.

Modise hands the POWER BREAKFAST baton to Lawrence Tlhabane, who currently presenters POWER PERSPECTIVE (weekdays 21:00 to midnight) and well-renowned broadcaster Ayanda-Allie Paine who will run with the show as of 1 March 2016.
