Kenny Setzin who has been serving on the North West FM (Pty) Ltd board of directors has been appointed as chair of the board. He was instrumental in leading a consortium that was awarded the license for North West FM- the only commercial radio station in the north West province.
The seasoned and top media executive, who hails from Mahikeng, will play a significant role in enabling the North West FM to enhance its position as the ultimate urban contemporary and only commercial station in the North West province.

Setzin is also chairperson of JWT SA (Pty) Ltd, a global advertising agency and has previously held positions of chair at Jacaranda FM (Pty) Ltd, Mediamark (Pty) Ltd and KFM (Pty) Ltd. He has served on the boards of Urban Brew (Pty) Ltd, Nokia Siemens Network (Pty) Ltd, Kaya FM (Pty) Ltd and Siemens Southern Africa Limited. Additionally, Setzin was an executive director for eleven years at New Africa Investments Limited (Nail) where he was responsible for media assets including radio, outdoor advertising, television production and print publishing. Setzin has lectured for six years at north West University, Mahikeng Campus and serves on several company boards including chairing the board of Letsamaiso (PTY) Ltd, the rea Vaya Rapid Transit System in the City of Johannesburg.
Setzin is the founder and Executive chair of DHI (Pty) Ltd, a BEE investment company with a diverse portfolio of media related assets, management consulting services, media, financial services and mining. He studied in the USA at the Universities of Missouri and Miami where he obtained his BA and MBA degrees respectively
