The 20th of October 2015 marked the launch of triple platinum selling trio Mi Casa’s new Album titled Home Sweet Home. J ‘Something, Dr. Duda and Mo-T have catapulted into international acts who have spread their wings as musicians and entrepreneurs under their new record label, 34 MUSIC.
In the same year, Mi Casa has managed to take over the house music scene with a global tour that saw them grace stages in Europe, North America and overall Pan African dominance.
Home Sweet Home is a double disc album packed with 25 hit tracks produced by the musically talented Dr. Duda, with J’ something adding melodic, catchy, soulful vocals and Mo-T’s infectious jazzy trumpet sounds. Home Sweet Home features an array of superstars such as Cassper Nyovest, Big Nuz & DJ Tira, Ladysmith Black Mambazo, Euphonik, and the Kenyan super group Sauti Soul.
The #MiCasaGoneGlobal Tour gave them an opportunity to collaborate with internationally renowned Producers such as Tortured Soul (USA), Zepherine Saint & Nathan Adams (UK), Rancido (Holland) and Bodhi Sattva (Belgium). Home Sweet Home also features young talented Producers such as “Moby Dixon, Da Capo, Cue bur & DJ Guru, DJ McShera & Ten 83) to remix some of Mi Casa’s all-time hits.
The lead single #Chocolat has been received positively across the world and has built a huge anticipation for this new album which will officially be released on the 23rd of October 2015, in all good music stores and iTunes.
Mo-T said “Home Sweet Home is different from our previous albums and it has more musical elements. Our first album had no collaborations because we wanted to present ourselves as Mi Casa with our individual talents. We moved to the second album, which featured artists such Black Coffee, Mishka and Jimmy Nevis , where we had hit tracks like “Jika” and “Your Body”. We’re celebrating five years in the industry and we’re excited that we’re still together and getting stronger every year.”
